Just a few days shy of her official 1st birthday, we celebrated Heidi turning
ONE! Despite the fact that it absolutely poured most of the day - we still had an excellent turnout to celebrate our little princess! It was the perfect day and I was so happy with the way everything turned out. Here's a little taste of the day:
Front door! (Don't let this sunlight fool you. It was basically a hurricane the whole day.) |
Pink, roses and pearls everywhere! |
Dessert table! (Not pictured: the cheesecake bites that I totally forgot
about and never even made it out of the refrigerator. Oops!) |
A little dark but you get the gist! Diapers and onesies from birth till now! (Easy, free and still personal as we already had all of the diapers/clothing on hand!) |
My birthday princess! |
My people. |
Time for ("healthy" banana) birthday cake! |
Heidi is not sure about this whole "getting your hands dirty" thing... |
...but it's too good to pass up! |
With her Nana and her Mimi! |
In lieu of gifts for Heidi, we asked our guests to bring a bottle, sippy cup or pacifier to donate
to the Star of Hope Mission! We were able to donate so much more than I had anticipated!
A HUGE thank you to all who donated!! Such a fun tradition that I hope to keep up for many
years to come - I can't wait until Heidi is old enough to choose what she is passionate about! |
(Photo cred for most photos to my amazing sister, Emily who has her own wedding photography business
Something Gold Photography. You should check her out bc she's awesome!)
