About Me

My name is Stephanie and I am living my dream job as a wife and stay-at-home mamma! I am a Christian and a runner. I am super type A and I enjoy cleaning and organizing. I also love sports, cooking and baking, Christmas, traveling, champagne, dancing, chocolate, wedding planning and the beach. I am striving to live a simpler life and still exploring what this means for our family.

I was born on an air force base in Alamogordo, New Mexico.  My dad was a fighter pilot and my mom a stay-at-home mom.  We moved to Houston when I was 3 years old so I feel like 25+ years is long enough to consider myself a Texan :)

I graduated from high school in 2005 and started college at Texas Tech that fall.  Realizing that Tech wasn't for me, I transferred to Baylor University 2 years later where I found my home and was able to be myself again. I graduated in December 2009 with a degree in Psychology.  (SIC EM BEARS!)

We are so grateful that the Lord has provided us with everything that we need and so much more.

The purpose of this blog is not only to document these times for ourselves, but also to put ourselves out there for others.  So that people might learn from our experiences, questions might be answered and we might all feel a little less alone and more connected to each other.  That being said, I want to make it known that I am here for YOU!  I am not just a computer screen.  If you have questions or thoughts for me regarding anything from cloth diapering or pregnancy to being an adult child of divorced parents (which I am!) please feel free to reach out to me in any way you feel comfortable. I am happy to answer questions, listen to your ideas or just chat!  I would truly love to hear from you.
